Smart Looking Polk Audio 5.25" Woofer - Top Quality and Performance.

Sold as a pair for one price, the Polk MW5530 is a supler 5 1/4" high performance woofer that was used in some of the later model series of Polk Audio Speaker.
It features an poly cone and rubber surround. With Power handling ability of 110 watts RMS, the MW5530 has an output performance of 91 db 1w/1m SPL, with a frequency range from 45 Hz. to 10 kHz. put it together, and you have a very nice performing woofer.

Polk Audio's MW5530 fits into a 4.875" mounting hole.
It has a mounting depth of 3.375"
The mounting face is 5.250" in dia. with four .140" mounting screws.
Mounting screws are spaced at 3.875" on center to center ( 4 holes at 90" spacing ), or 5.5" on the diagonal.

i happen to own a center speaker and a pair of surrounds (bipole/dipole) in which P.A. used this very driver. as for me i have been a DIY speaker enthusiast since i was a small boy when i repaired a pair of Klipsch Heresy's after blowing the tweeters!!
