Mavin's EMT-1 series is a top of the line Tweeter Series, with a perfect mix of high durability and great sound reproduction. You get a speaker that sounds great and that will last for years.
This is a very heavy and efficient speaker, with a 1" voice coil it can handle up to 90 watts RMS and 175 watts peak. Pumping out the high frequency sound is just what this speaker was designed for with a SPL rating of 92 dB and a practical range from 1500 Hz. to 21000 Hz. you will find that the EMT-1-8 is a great to replace that blown tweeter, or for any new project you have in the wings.
Great for Home Systemes, Guitar Amps, Pro Speakers, or Really Durable Old School Home Systems. The perfect all arround speaker.
Tweeters on average are rated to 40 or so watts, the Mavin T-1 series is twice that at 90 Watts RMS yet is needs only a few watts to power. The power range for optimum performance is at least 25 Watts and as high as 90 watts, with peak spikes up to 175 Watts.
