Quite basically, this is a killer 10" speaker. I own a DJ / entertainment business, and we use monitor speakers behind us, so that we can hear what's is going on out front on the dance floor. We re-designed all of the system's monitors around this smaller Polk 10" with a Dayton xover and a Selenium horn... in a 1 cuft cabinet. The whole cab is very light, and are driven by a Peavey Deca amp... putting out about 250w per channel. These things put out great low end... we've bought 8 of these so far, and getting ready to buy 2 more for building small speakers for cocktail music in a "zone" area away from the main dance floor... I expect they will sound great in that application also ! Great speaker at an awesome price.
