Here we have a clean and properly functioning Micro-Controle (now Newport Research, NRC) MVN-120 High Load Vertical Travel Stage on a 4cm XY Micro-Controle ball bearing positioner.

The micrometer drive for the Z axis is readable to five micra. The drives for the X and Y axes are each readable to ten micra.
The bottom mounting plate has holes for 1/4 inch screws ib a 3x7 inch rectangle. The top plate has eight 10-32 threaded holes on square matrices.
