Great little 5" ESS Labs
Closed Back Mid Range Speaker
New, Unused Purchased Direct from ESS Labs, this an OEM Excess Item.
A bid of one gets you one pair of these Mid Range Speakers.
Nice little 5" Closed Back Mid Range speaker, it is a round frame design with a grill. The speaker is a cloth roll paper cone design with a healthy magnet, at least 12 oz. rated to 60 watts RMS, this would work well in a 200 watt or less system.
Basics on the speaker, it is 5 1/8" in dia, it fits into a 4" mounting hole and is 2 1/4" deep. It is rated at 8 ohms and 60 watts RMS, ESS Labs part number is AC400M
They are bulk packed and sold as a pair, so again, a bid of one, gets you one pair of ESS Mid range speakers. Item is new and unused. There is no ESS Labs warranty on the speaker, so the only guarantee you have is our 90 day warranty.
Have no specs on the speaker, but a general guess is that the response is in the 500 Hz. to 9 kHz. range. In fact running a sweep and listening to the speaker it sounded pretty flat through that range... Also I'm most likely conservative on my range, an aggressive range would be more like 400 Hz to 11 kHz.....
