This is a drop in replacement for the M&K 8 Ohm Sub Woofers, Mavin's Own 12" High Performance Driver

Rated to 250 Watts RMS with a Minimum SPL of 90 dB
It has a Practical Frequency Range from 25 Hz to 5,250 Hz
Rubber Surround and Heavy Magnet Structure High End Quality at a Mid Level Price.

Simple process to replace any of the standard M&K 12" Woofers, just undo the screws pop out the old woofer, disconnect the wires and do the reverse to complete the install.

In 5 minutes you're done, still better, that dead sounding M&K Sub will burst back to life with performance once again like that of a factory New Sub.

I bought this for my M&K V-1B sub only to realize after the fact that this is a single voice coil driver and I needed a Dual voice coil design. Electro Mavin was cool when I called them and told me just to ship it back and they would give me the DVC version no charge... (which is not listed on there website)

I tried this as a replacement in my M&K VX-1250 subwoofer. It's every bit as good as M&K's Super Fast Driver (which I also tried), maybe better. The only difference that I can hear, and it's very subtle, is that the Electro Mavin driver has a little more punch. In general, compared to the M&K driver, I found this driver to be better for home theater and just as good for music.
