What I am selling is one hundred (100) each new unused un-modified oem packaged PS-2 CueCats.

They come with no software or drivers, but software and drivers can downloaded from my website, or any of several hundred others...

What is a CueCat??

It is a Small Hand Held Bar Code Scanner, it was brought into the world by a now defunct company called "Digital Convergence", their plan was to get these scanners into the world to help tie you and advertisers together... Simple, the vendor puts their bar coded link into the ad they are running in a publication, you scan the bar code and you're off to the site for the item you are interested in.....
There goes the rub. Little known to the users was that each time you used the CueCat a coded serial number was also sent which could have been used to judge your buying habits and demographic surveys.... Shades of 1984...

Long live the hackers, these people found that with a few minor modifications the CueCat could be made to work as a standard bar code reader. Free software was written for the Windows, Linux, Unix, MAC and other OS's which helps to tame the CueCat and undo the stealthy reason behind Digital Convergences business plan.

One site Cuecatastrophe.com has a windows driver written which strips and decodes the information all through software without having to modify the Cats.

- If you send in your check, we will not return it, but the product will not ship until the check clears, this could take up to 2 weeks or longer. So if you want it right away, don't send a check.
We automatically send out tracking information on electronically paid items. If you mail in your payment please make sure you include the Who, What, Where, and How of the order with your payment. If you want tracking information please include your e-mail address.
Note that we will try to ship within 24 working hours of you completing the transaction and receiving notice of electronic payment. In the case or electronic transfer, or eCheck, we ship upon notice that the transaction has cleared.
But we are human, and sometimes things happen that get in the way. If your order should take 1-2 days to get out the door we hope you understand, something on our end just slowed it down.

If you change your mind on an item, we may take it back, but shipping both ways is paid by you, this is on a case by case basis.
